The Elsternwick Hotel
Established in 1854 as a wayside inn, the Elsternwick Hotel was a favourite watering hole for bushrangers and robbers because of its relative isolation on the track from Melbourne to the Mornington Peninsula.
But since 1951, its been hard to miss, with a famous Victoria Bitter neon sign lighting up the night.
